The use of color has spanned many areas, and it has been used for years in medicine for treatments.

The universal sign of danger is the color red. But it is also the color of vitality, energy, and power. Red is a powerful healing agent for diseases of the blood and circulatory system, but it is not to be used on people with high blood pressure or anxiety. Because orange is a blend of red and yellow, it combines physical energy with mental wisdom, inducing a transformation between lower physical reaction and higher mental response. Thus it is often referred to as the wisdom ray.

Through orange we are able to heal the physical body (red) and at the same time induce within the mind (yellow) greater understanding on how the body may be kept in good repair. Orange helps assimilate new ideas and stimulates mental enlightenment.

The color orange brings joy to our workday and strengthens our appetite for life. It is the best emotional stimulant, because it connects us to our senses and helps to remove inhibitions.

Yellow is the color of intellect and it is used as a mental stimulant, because it will help you think quicker. If you have a foggy head, dermatitis or other skin problems, then yellow is it for you, although it must be used carefully because it is very stimulating and can cause exhaustion and depression.

Also, yellow is an excellent color for nervous and nerve related ailments. It links with and stimulates the solar plexus, and can be used for psychic burnout, and for conditions of the stomach, liver, and intestines

Typical diseases treated yellow are constipation, gas, liver troubles, diabetes and eczema. The color gives us clarity of thought, increases awareness and stimulates interests and curiousity.Yellow energy is related to the ability to perceive and understand, as it simply connects us to our mental self.

Like the color of gold, yellow represents the the highest of the physical colours.And the phrase” worth its weight in gold” best depicts both its wonderful physiological and psychological properties.
