No matter what you want to achieve, you will only achieve it if you have the right mental attitude. I have lost count of the quotes from famous people which highlight this point in elegant simplicity. This one by Thomas Jefferson springs to mind: “Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude”.
Everyone has their own familiar patterns of thought which are most prevalent to them. Some people look on the bright side, whilst others do not. When under pressure, sometimes people who are normally positive can be seen to waver in the way in which they focus. The fact is that there is a whole range of mental attitudes which we all have the ability to access, so long as we want to and so long as we know how to do so.
I watched a movie last night called “The end of the affair” which you may also have seen. In this movie the lover is so jealous that he cannot enjoy the affair. It shows to dramatic perfection how a human being can choose to focus upon what you have not got to such a degree that there is no enjoyment of what you do indeed have.
When you are extremely busy at work it is easy to get to the stage of feeling that you are getting nothing done, and a feeling of being swamped takes over. One has to learn to pause for a moment and focus on smaller chunks of work which you can do and feel the sense of satisfaction and achievement which comes as these particular areas of work are executed. If you do not learn to do this you will end up getting nothing done at all as the sensations of losing control take over and effectively prevent you from getting your work done.
What happens in life is that whatever you expect to happen you will magnetize into your reality. With the wrong mental attitude you will attract the wrong things into your reality; your own attitude blocks you from achieving what you really want. But, as Thomas Jefferson points out, with the right mental attitude nothing can stop you from achieving that which is your heart’s desire.
To have the right mental attitude you need to be fully focused and to really see your goal. You need to be able to imagine what it would feel like to already have reached your goal. Hypnosis is amazingly useful in this aim. Hypnosis is a state of relaxation which is normal and natural. In hypnosis you access the creative aspects of your subconscious mind which allows your imagination greater vividness and clarity. You can learn with hypnosis to really see and hear, feel and taste your success and to get your emotions fully involved in this process. In this way you will find that you pursue your goals with more passion, and more positive energy.
Hypnosis is a state which assists you to be more flexible in your thoughts. If you are tense or anxious you really cannot think clearly as your emotional and primitive brain takes over and your logical mind is bypassed. As you relax you are able to think clearly once again. In learning to use hypnosis, you learn how to change state and relax at will. Hypnosis is easy to learn; you can do so at home with the help of a hypnosis download.
With hypnosis you will also find that you more easily find your way around obstacles. If at any time you feel as if you have come up against a brick wall, try relaxing in hypnosis and you will see how easily alternative routes pop into your mind. I was chatting with someone earlier who said that they always found answers to their problems when out jogging. This is not surprising as the repetitive motion of jogging is in itself hypnotic.
Hypnosis can help in many, many ways to assist you in having the right mental attitude to succeed. Why not try it for yourself and see how much more easily you achieve your goals?
