How Antioxidants Help To Relieve Pain

We are literally poisoning ourselves simply by existing. There are toxins in the air and foods that we eat. We inhale and ingest those toxins on a daily basis – and those toxins cause a myriad of health problems that prevent us from feeling our best and living our lives to the fullest.

While the body does produce its own natural antioxidants to get rid of these toxins and cleanse the body, they aren’t enough. In fact, as we age, the body’s production of natural antioxidants decreases dramatically, leaving the door wide open for those toxins to literally take over our bodies!

Unfortunately, our diets seldom do anything to aid in the production of antioxidants, and most often contribute to the toxins that are poisoning us instead. The invention and use of chemicals that were not available one hundred years ago, which are used to make the foods we eat grow faster and bigger, are literally killing us. So, even though our ancestors did not have the science and technology that we have today, they were healthier!

All of the toxins in our bodies create health problems. We may not even be aware of those problems. We may just have an ache or a pain that goes away after a short time. We may have an upset stomach, or even headaches that occur on a regular basis. In most cases, we all have little ailments that don’t even warrant a visit to the doctor’s office. Those toxins are responsible for those little ailments, and in many cases they build and build to cause greater health problems – like cancer.

Our bodies need the help of antioxidants that they can’t produce on their own. Antioxidants are natural diuretics. They bring blood sugar levels into the normal range, restore proper oxygen levels to our cells, give us back our libido, promote thyroid hormone action, which controls metabolism, act as natural anti-depressants, help our blood clot properly, prevent many cancers, and even help alleviate our aches and pains – even the ones associated with arthritis and osteoarthritis.

With all of these benefits and more, is it any wonder that we start to feel like our young selves again after we detoxify our bodies? Antioxidants not only help us to feel better, they keep us feeling good by protecting our cells and preventing various illnesses and conditions. In light of the world that we live in, and how it is treated, taking a good multi vitamin to maintain one’s health is no longer enough, and in many cases, may contribute to the problem.

Through science and research, we have learned that eating the proper amount of green vegetables helps to detoxify our bodies. The FDA recommends at least two servings a day, but again, in the world that we live in, that may not be enough to truly prevent the damage that the environment does. We also live in a fast paced world that may not allow the majority of us to take the time to cook and eat two servings of greens each day – many of us don’t even like greens and avoid them like the plague!

For those that don’t like the taste of greens, don’t worry. There are products that really taste good – and scientists have found that when we ingest liquid, 90% of it is absorbed, as opposed to the 10% to 20% of the vitamins and minerals that are absorbed from pills.

Instead of ‘eating your spinach’ you can now drink it, without having to experience the taste of it – and you will be healthier for it!
