There are women who undergo hysterectomy wherein certain parts of the reproductive organs are removed but this is not an assurance that you will not experience hair loss. Just like pregnancy, once you get over the menopausal stage, your hair will be restored.

Certain diseases and illness medications may lead to hair loss. If hair loss is the side effect of the medications that you’ve been taking, inform your doctor immediately about it so that he or she can prescribe you with alternative medicines that will not have the same side effects.
