An escape to Deer Valley in any season of the year presents opportunities for kids of all ages to have a good time. This is a fabulous family-friendly place to visit. Deer Valley Resort has a Childrens Center where parents can drop off their non-skiing children (ages two months to twelve years) for a day filled with fun while Mom and Dad hit the slopes. This center is licensed and offers activities such as story telling, crafts, singing, and playtime with toys.
For children and young adults who are ready to ski, Deer Valley offers a variety of runs that are suitable for young skiers. The resort also offers professional lessons to kids. These lessons are available one-on-one or in groups. Deer Valley instructors are specifically trained to teach children, so learning will be fun and help the child develop better skiing skills. This is a excellent way for kids to work on their skills while their parents challenge themselves on more difficult terrain. Lessons are available for children as young as three.
